Sarad’s continuous air monitors (CAM) are designed to provide real-time measurements of airborne contaminants, which includes radioactive particles, dust or gases that may be harmful to the human body.  

Sarad manufactures various models of CAM in its facility based in Germany, and are distributed locally by ADM Nuclear Technologies.

• poCAMon - Personal Online Continuous Air Monitor   

poCAMon monitors are designed to detect airborne radioactive aerosols / Long-Lived Radioactive Dust (LLRD). It is typically used in nuclear facilities, the NORM-affected industries (Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material), mining sites and in nuclear medicine.   

poCAMon XT – Online Extension for Existing Air Samples – are also available at ADM Nuclear Technologies if you need to update your existing air sampler with online analysis and notification features.   

• AER 5000 – Desktop Continuous Air Monitor (CAM)   

The AER 5000 monitors ambient air to detect airborne radioactive aerosols (LLRD) and commonly used where space is limited.   

• AER 5200/5300 – Portable Alpha/Beta Continuous Air Monitors (CAM)   

The AER 5200 works by siphoning air through an internal pump, depositing aerosols on a filtered surface, and analysing them using spectroscopy. It compensates for natural background radiation from radon and gamma sources. The AER 5300 variant, on the other hand, includes a separate detector/filter unit, which makes it suitable for placement in small spaces. Both models offer high sensitivity with low detection limits and alert thresholds for alpha and beta radiation.   

• AER 5400 – Online Continuous Air Monitor IP65    

The AER 5400 CAM has a stainless-steel enclosure with a straightforward design for easy decontamination if required. This model is suitable for harsh environments or outdoor applications.
